The FAST OC 8 Hour Initial CCW Course is for following persons:

·        PERSONS who are looking for the bare minimum in CCW training

·        PERSONS who are satisfied with meeting the legal minimum standard established by The Orange County Sheriff’s Office

·        PERSONS who accept the responsibility for obtaining their own further training to become competent in self-defense firearms use.

As no provider can possibly prepare a student for a life threatening encounter in the constraints of an 8 hour course, regardless of what they advertise or state, we host this class with the understanding that the student attending has already taken more advanced or immersive instruction, or intends to do so prior to carrying a concealed firearm in public.

This course is limited to providing the absolute bare minimum training to meet the minimum requirements for initial CCW issuance as set forth by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

This course is for those persons who are looking for a 1-day course with the bare minimum amount of academic classroom instruction. The 1-day course does not include the skills necessary to instill competency in defensive shooting. You will only be required to qualify with your firearm at 3, 5 and 7 yards. No holster work / drawing is provided in this course.

Students will be required to sign an acknowledgement that they understand that this course does not prepare them for a life-threatening encounter, and that it only meets the minimum requirements for training as mandated by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

We DO NOT charge extra for additional firearms. The fee shown in checkout covers the range fee, classroom materials, additional guns, and targets.
