For those of you who know me have come to learn that I am very proud to have honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. On June 7th, 1994, I stood with many other women and men, raised my right hand and recited an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. I swore to uphold that oath then, and I am committed to continue to uphold that oath today.
I have and will continue to act to defend our Constitution and America.
As the Chairman of the CRPA North Orange County Gun Owners Chapter, I have always asked our attendees “if not me, or you…. then who?” I have continually pushed and encouraged our members to take action, to take a stand, to fight for our rights, and fight back against those who would seek to take them away from us. The Marine in me demands that I lead by example.
It is now my turn to step up for our constitutional rights and way of life. Today, it is my honor to announce that, with the assistance of CRPA, I have filed a federal lawsuit to declare the California handgun roster scheme unconstitutional. Most of you are aware that the California Safe Handgun Roster regulations prevent firearms that are readily available in other states from being sold in California simply because California has not deemed those firearms “safe” for the people of California.
The US Supreme Court has clearly affirmed the fundamental importance of the Second Amendment in the latest Bruen decision, and it is time California rejoin the United States on this issue.
