This is our 4-hour OCSD-Approved Concealed Carry Permit Renewal Course. You are required to take a refresher course before your permit expires, and this course fulfills that requirement. In accordance with OCSD requirements, we cover the legal aspects of CCW, the terms of your permit, and a requalification with the firearms listed on your permit (along with any firearm changes you wish to make).
In this class, we also cover situational awareness, controlling and avoiding confrontations, the physical and psychological realities of a self-defense engagement, and the legal and social fallout from a shooting. Many of the concepts and topics we discuss in our full CCW course are also covered here, along with opportunities to continue your training. You do not need to have taken your original training with us.
The range fee is included in the cost of the course, you will need the 1-3 firearms on your permit, 75 rounds for each firearm, and eye and ear protection. You will be provided with a certificate of training for OCSD at the conclusion of the course, and we are available to assist you with any part of your renewal process and paperwork.
