This course is being held for CGSSA Instructors with current NRA Instructor Ratings that will be assisting with the WOT program.
The NRA Shotgun Instructor Course is a two day course that covers instructing students in the use of a shotgun in recreational clays and hunting. This course starts with the Basic Instructors Training and moves into the art of teaching shotgun and the various techniques used in trap, skeet and sporting clays. The second day is primarily spent on the range as we work with each other on troubleshooting problems with marksmanship and reinforcing the fundamentals for new shooters.
Students are recommended to bring 50 - 100 Rounds of #7 1/2 - #9 Bird Shot and shotgun of their choice.
