This is our FAST OC Defensive Shotgun Course. In this course, we will cover several different topics, from the various shotgun types that are available, to defensive ammunition selection and gun safety rules. We will discuss the concepts behind defending your home with a shotgun, including common misconceptions and tactics, as well as the reasoning behind them.

We will discuss how to make your home less of a target to a potential criminal, as well as methods for controlling and avoiding confrontations. Most importantly, we will discuss the emotional, social, and legal ramifications of a defensive shooting.

We will spend time on the range practicing what we have gone over in class, including moving while shooting and shooting from cover.

The goal is not to force you to take more classes with us, but rather maximize the time in this course by ensuring you already have familiarity with the fundamentals of employing a shotgun.
