This is the NRA’s Personal Protection Inside the Home course, geared primarily towards familiarizing students with tactics and concepts to help them prepare for the unlikely event of a home invasion. We will cover physical tactics, psychological and physical aspects of a stressful engagement, legal ramifications, and many other concepts. This is a great shooting course for those who have already had some firearms familiarization or have taken an NRA Basic Pistol Course. The NRA Basics of Personal Protection in the Home Course is for law abiding citizens and advanced shooters who want to learn additional strategies necessary to protect themselves in their home in the event of a home intrusion, break-in, or robbery. Shooters learn advanced mastery of basic skills, safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm, proper storage and safekeeping of a firearm, and proper care and maintenance.
